Who writes this stuff?

Stunned and a bit confused and depressed I sat at the computer to figure out why and how some shows make it to TV. I am no expert at writing, creative thought plague my brain constantly, but I do not write the bad thoughts down, like the show I saw today.

Are people that starving to see anyone else having common ever day ideas?

MONTAGE

The booming salon on Main Street, America.

The economic crash, garbage blows down empty Main Street. Sparkle lets her beloved employees go.

Sparkle envisions herself in a life of a Private Investigator; she fantasizes herself as a glamorous sleuth.

Her Beloved three employee /clients share a dumpy house while Sparkle studies hard to get her license.

Nadine, Lillian, and Caroline barter their hairstyles to help Sparkle keep the salon up. Lillian sweeps up Carolines hair while Nadine is filling up shampoo bottles.

I say rob a bank, Nadine speaks out. Life seems to be falling apart for the Baby Boomers; pensions shrinking, college kids unemployed, sick husbands, and a son in prison.

Sparkle gets her PI licensed and moves a small desk in the back room of the salon, hangs sign under the at Sparkles Salon that reads, "Private Investigator".

Things seem to be going again when Ms Clemons threatens to take over the salon, which is being held as collateral for the loan for Sparkles PI School.

The ladies are dismayed and volunteer to work at salon and help gain back some of the hair clients.

The ladies are enjoying their hairstyles again and extra money at the salon; when Sparkle is baffled over her first case involving a senior match making scheme, which one of her clients’ mothers is involved.

She hires the threesome for her first case.

Now they are considered Sparkle and C.R.E.W. (Crazy Retired Eccentric Women).
Sparkle maintains the salon, and her operatives help solve her cases in the most outlandish ways.

Laugh and Love

Life, we live, love, and and laugh. I was reminded of how precious life is yesterday, lost a friend that had been struggling with cancer since 2007. She and her step daughter, Tierra the funny duo, like "Laverne and Shirley", that I met the the ladies years before through my wonderful neighbor and great friend Michelle Venus.

The memories always make me smile and remind me to always stay in touch with are loved ones. In these days of tough times and struggles, we should always remember the ones that have touch our lives in a positives way. Laughing is such good medicine and Jolanda Warren Harris you made me smile. Which is so bitter sweet, as tears run down my cheek, have a smile on my face knowing Jolanda is free from pain and is smiling at us now.

I am so lucky to have my husband that was diagnosed with Colon cancer is now is cancer free. Jolanda and Steve were given diagnoses about the same time, so this is especially hard for me. I realize life and the people that are so special to us.
Keep your love ones close,

Heather

Cold Coffee

Cold Coffee

I live in a pretty perfect world, great husband and active child, and two careers. One would say I have it all.
Most people need coffee just to wake up, but I think it's the aroma of the coffee and the experience of the desire to sit and enjoy the moment. ERRRCCH, put on the brakes, my daughters alarm clocks going off,
the oatmeal is burning the dogs need to go outside; where did I sit my coffee cup?

I like to go to the coffee shop, what a nice feeling, or dream, but by the time I would get there it would
be noon. So it took me almost ten years to figure out the meaning of the expensive coffee shops;
it’s not the coffee, but an award for relaxing and enjoying your accomplishments, and an excuse to visit
or just get away from it all.
OK, maybe it is about a good hot cup of coffee.

weight loss

On the radio the other day, they spoke of someone doing a study of eating habits. Mentioned was not eating before 3:00, this was proven to make people gain weight not loose. I have known this for years, is the public or the masses really that ignorant? Guess I been lucky enough to be one that love to eat, and plans for it. Wish I had the money that some marketing firm got for that study.

I was approached by a friend at the Gym the other day, she spoke of working out 2 hours a day 4 or 5 times a week, but is not loosing weight.  I asked her if she eats protein or anything before she works out. Her answer was shocking, She doesn't eat before she works out.

The health clubs today need to do a better job of informing the "New Recruits" on how the whole exercise and losing weight programs work. Meal plans suggestions for best result, is an idea. Wake up America!

Getting the word out,
Heather
